Terms of Use

Last updated: June 2026

Welcome to Fawnly (fawnly.co.uk). By using this website and its tools, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

What Fawnly is

Fawnly provides free, browser-based planning tools and information to help UK families plan and budget. The tools do their calculations in your browser and are intended for general guidance only. Fawnly (fawnly.co.uk) is the trading name under which this site is operated; you can contact us at hello@fawnly.co.uk, and we will provide the operator’s details on request.

Not professional advice

The information and results provided by Fawnly are for general information only and are not financial, legal, medical or tax advice. Figures are estimates and may not reflect your exact circumstances. Always check official sources (such as GOV.UK and the NHS), product instructions, and your own paperwork, and seek professional advice for important decisions. Fawnly is not liable for any decision you make based on the tools or content.

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided "as is" and "as available". While we work hard to keep figures accurate and up to date, we make no guarantee that the content is accurate, complete, current, or that the site will be available or error-free.

Intellectual property

All content on this site - including the tools, source code, calculations, text, design, layout, the "Fawnly" name and the logo - is owned by Fawnly and protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. All rights are reserved in Fawnly’s own original content. Some pages also include third-party material - such as plain-English summaries based on NICE guidance (used under the NICE UK Open Content Licence) and open-source libraries (used under their own licences) - which remains the property of its owners and is used under the licence noted on the relevant page.

You may use the tools for your own personal, non-commercial planning. You must not, without our prior written permission: copy, reproduce, republish, scrape, download in bulk, frame, mirror, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the site; or use any part of it for commercial purposes. Automated collection or extraction of content is not permitted.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, introduce malicious code, or use automated systems to access it in a way that could damage or overload the service.

Affiliate and external links

Some pages may contain affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission if you buy through them - at no extra cost to you. Links to external sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party websites.

Paid downloads

Some tools (such as the Chore Chart) let you unlock downloadable versions of your plan - for example a printable PDF and an editable spreadsheet - for a small one-off charge, paid securely through Ko-fi. The download is a digital product supplied immediately once you enter your unlock code. By making the payment and using your code, you ask us to supply the download straight away and you acknowledge that, because supply begins immediately, you lose the 14-day right to cancel once the download has started. The file is generated in your browser from the details you entered and delivered instantly, so we cannot usually offer a refund once it has been unlocked - but if it is faulty or doesn't work as described, email hello@fawnly.co.uk and we'll fix it or refund you. Prices are shown before you pay and include any applicable tax.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fawnly will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or inability to use, the site or its tools, or from reliance on any information provided.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the laws of England and Wales.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
